24MX European Enduro Championship reaches its fourth and final round here in Woltersdorf, Germany. After a long season of challenges and feats, we have reached the fateful final verdict. The wait for this event has been great, and already on the first day we saw the first titles awarded, the result of perseverance, technique and preparation of the most talented riders of the European championship.
Killian Lunier – podium J1
Killian Lunier took over the Junior1 category, thanks to an impeccable season in which he dominated every round. Davide Soreca, 14 years after his last participation in the European Championship, won the E1 class, overcoming fierce competition.
Anthony Geslin, French rider of Team Atomic, also shone today by winning the European title in the E3 class. His season was marked by consistent performances that guaranteed him a prominent position within the championship. On a day of great emotion, veteran Maurizio Micheluz also reached an important milestone, winning his fourteenth European title and thus concluding a legendary and inspiring career for the younger ones. For the Women category, Mauricette Brisebard’s consistency was rewarded with the European title.

The first day of racing started at 8:00, when the riders set off from the centre of Woltersdorf. From the start, the route proved to be full of challenges: after the start, the participants faced the Cross Test, a technical test immersed in the undergrowth, characterised by continuous ups and downs that required agility and dexterity, putting the riders’ resistance to the test. This was followed by the Time Control with assistance, before the second test of the day, the Extreme Test, certainly one of the most challenging of this round. Characterised by passages on rocks, stones, logs and water holes, the Extreme Test represented a real test for the technical and physical preparation of the riders. Once this demanding test was overcome, the riders faced the Enduro Test, the last test of the route, also designed in the undergrowth, with significant slopes.

The route was repeated for three laps, offering spectators a spectacular day of action. The passion for enduro is evident in Germany, and Woltersdorf is proof of this; a large crowd that cheered the riders along the entire track, supporting them and applauding the performances of the champions.
In the Youth class, an all-French podium thanks to Gabin Allemand, Matteo Arrieta and Valentin Mersin. In Junior1, the victory of the day went to Lunier, followed by Pyry Juupaluoma and Charlie Charter. Another battle between Diego Haution, team Atomic, and Matej Skuta in Junior2; today the Frenchman prevailed followed by Skuta himself. The Italian Riccardo Fabris closed the Junior2 podium.
Maurizio Micheluz
In E1, local hero Jeremy Sydow took the spot ahead of Soreca and Davide Mei. An all-English battle in E2 with Daniel Mundell beating Alex Walton by over a minute. David Abgrall closed out the podium of the day. No rivals for Geslin in E3 who won over Robert Riedel and Mattia Capuzzo. Same scenario also in Senior where we find Micheluz in first place, followed by Nico Rambow and Martin Gottvald. A welcome return for Frenchwoman Marine Lemoine to the European Championship; the youngster won the Women class ahead of Mauricette Brisebard and Sara Traini. An unlucky day and championship for Tanja Schlosser who fell at the extreme end and is forced to return. Probable broken hand for the young German.
Among the teams, Diligenti Racing climbed to the top step of the podium, with Gaerne in second place and Team Sweden in third.
In the European Nations Championship, Italy leads the provisional ranking in the National, Finland in the Senior, Slovakia in the Women and France in the Youth/Junior.

Today’s awards ceremony has already provided great emotions, with the first national anthems resounding among the enthusiastic audience and supporters who came to celebrate these champions. However, the anticipation is growing for tomorrow, when the remaining titles will be awarded in the Youth, Junior2, E2, Trade Team and Absolute categories. The riders still competing for the title will give it their all in the final tests, ready to once again test their skills on one of the most challenging courses of the championship.
Tomorrow, the program includes three laps, while the girls will complete two laps in total. The final day promises more strong emotions and exciting challenges, and all eyes will be on the riders who will compete for the final titles.
