The young Frenchwoman is the winner of the 2024 edition of the 24mx MiniEnduro European Cup in the Women 125 category. With a day to spare, Charlene Boudon takes home the seasonal victory in this category, putting her opponents behind her who were unable to do anything against the speed of the Frenchwoman who this season climbed to the top step of the podium 4 times out of 5 days of competition. The fifth victory comes right here in Germany thanks to the determination that saw her prevail over the Polish Maja Kozlowska by just 10 seconds and over the German Lea Meier. The other categories are still to be decided, tomorrow we will know their winners for this season.

The top of the overall ranking on this first day was animated by the German Henry Strauss who has a good feeling with the technical and demanding passages that characterize this round. The young German in fact competes in the German Hard Enduro Championship, and here in Meltewitz he has found the ideal terrain for his skills. Strauss won both the overall and that of the 125 Mini which he won with over a minute’s gap on the Italian Matteo Giuliani. Championship leader Emerick Vergote placed third. In the 50 Mini the ranking spoke Italian: completing the podium were Davide Cabass, who won on day 1 and strengthens his leadership in the championship, Nicolò Mancinelli and the new entry Niccolò Pratesi.

Another all-Italian podium was that of the Junior with Cristian Marioli setting the best time of this first day, followed by Evan Moschetti and Duccio Giraldi. The three are playing for the class victory, tomorrow the verdict of this exciting battle!

The race route, excellently prepared by the SHC Meltewitz motoclub, saw the riders face three special tests on each of the 4 laps and in order: Extreme Test, Cross Test and Enduro Test. Each test featured some technical passages on stones, trunks and tires, excellently overcome by our little champions. Before returning the bikes to the park ferme, the riders faced the Extreme Test for a fifth time. Tomorrow there will still be 4 laps to complete, but the fifth step in the extreme will not be carried out.
